The Post Office of China and the Macau Post Office will launch today December 20, 2009, a join stamp issue evocative of the 10th anniversary of the return of Macau to the motherland China

Inaugurado em 2009, o Centro de Ciência de Macau, visa a promoção da ciência junto do público, através de actividades educativas e exposições.

O Centro de Ciência de Macau, centra a sua actividade em três àreas de interesse – a educacional, a turística e a das conferências. O centro visa criar estímulos junto dos jovens estudantes, para as questões fundamentais das ciências e das tecnologias. Composto por três edifícios, ocupando uma área total de 20.000 m2, dedicados a um Centro de Exibições, um Planetário e um Centro de Convenções.

120th Anniversary of the Founding of the Pui Ching Middle School

Fundada em Cantão, floresceu em Macau e Hong Kong.

Em 1889, Pui Ching Middle School foi fundada em Cantão, tornando-se a primeira escola do "novo estilo" fundada por cristãos chineses. 1938 a escola foi transferida para Macau. Seu crescimento nunca foi parado e é a orientação da educação é baseada em valores morais, a capacidade intelectual e espírito de equipa.

Founded in Guangzhou, bloomed in Macao and Hong Kong.

In 1889, Pui Ching Middle School was founded in Guangzhou, becoming the first school of the ‘new style’ founded by Chinese Christians. 1938 the school was moved to Macao. Its growing was never stopped and is education orientation is based in moral values, intellectual ability and team spirit.

A cidade de Jingdeshen, na província de Jiangxi, tornou-se conhecida como a ‘Capital da Porcelana’ durante a dinastia Ming, após o seu desenvolvimento durante as dinastia de Song e Yuan.

Os dois selos desta emissão, representam pinturas sobre um único painel de porcelana, pintada com várias cores e cozida em forno.

Os Correios de Macau, para esta emissão, duas

pinturas sobre porcelana do mestre pintor macaense Sou Farong. Estas duas obras, constituem as maiores pinturas jamais efectuas sobre uma ]unica pe;a de porcelana.

The city of Jingdeshen, in Jiangxi province, beca

me known as the 'Capital of Porcelain' during the Ming dynasty, after its development during the Song Dynasty and Yuan.

The two stamps of this issue, represents paintings of a single panel of porcelain, painted with various colors and baked in oven.

Macao Post chose for this issue, two paintings on porcelain made by the Macao painter Sou Farong. These two works constitute the greatest paintings ever made on a single piece of porcelain.

60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

Desde essa data, uma impressionante revolução cultural, política, social e económica, foi realizada, permitindo que a China ocupa-se o seu natural lugar de líder no Leste Asiático.

Conjuntamente com estas comemorações, são também celebrados os 10 Anos de Retorno de Macau à Grande Pátria China.

On 1 October 1949 was proclaimed the People's Republic of China, a major world historical events of the twentieth century and of particular importance for China.
Since then, an impressive cultural, political, social and economic revolution was performed, allowing China deals with its natural place as a leader in East Asia.

O Dia International do Trabalhador ou Primeiro de Maio, como também é conhecido, é um dia feriado, consagrado na lei de vários países do mundo.
A sua origem, remonta ao dia 1 de Maio de 1886, dia no qual se realizaram inumeras greves e manifestações de trabalhadores , em diversas cidades Norte Americas, como forma de reivindicarem melhores condições de trabalho.
Desde 1989, que está instituído o Primeiro de Maio como Dia do Trabalhador e desde 1949, é considerado feriado nacional.
O Primeiro de Maio, é assim um dia de festividades culturais, desportivas e de diversão dedicadas às classes trabalhadoras.

The International Labor Day or May First, it is also known, is a public holiday, enshrined in the law of several countries in the world.
Its origin dates back to May 1, 1886, day in which it held numerous strikes and demonstrations of workers in several North American cities as a way to claim better working conditions. Since 1989, which is established as the first of May and Labor Day since 1949, is considered national holiday.
