Mainland Scenary

No território Ocidental chinês, a Cordilheira de Gangdise, situa-se num vasto i despovoado planalto do Distrito de Ali, cobrindo uma área de milhares de quilometros quadados, a oeste do Tibete, entre as montanhas de Kunlun a norte e os Himalaias a sul.
O maior destaque vai para o Cume Kangrinboqe, cujo nome significa ‘Monte Sagrado’ em lingua tibetana.
A 23 de Outubro de 2005, o Cume Kangrinboqe, foi eleito como uma das dez mais famosas montanhas chinesas, num concurso organizado pela revista ‘National Geographic of China’.

In Western Chinese territory, the Cordillera de Gangdise, is a broad plateau i depopulated the district of Ali, an area covering thousands of kilometers quad, to the west of Tibet, between the Kunlun mountains to the north and the Himalayas to the south. The biggest highlight goes to the Kangrinboqe Ridge, whose name means 'Holy Mount' in Tibetan idiom. On 23 October 2005, the Summit Kangrinboqe, was elected as one of the ten most famous Chinese mountains, in a competition organized by the magazine "National Geographic of China'.

O movimento dos Escuteiros, foi criado por Lorde Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, em 1907. Cem anos após a sua fundação, o movimento cresceu, tornando-se um Movimento Escoteiro Mundial.
O Centenário da fundação do movimento, comemorou-se sob o lema ‘Um Mundo, Uma Promessa’.
Os Correios de Macau, não quiseram deixar de se juntar às comemorações e emitiram uma série de selos dedicada ao evento.

The movement of the Boy Scouts was founded by Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell in 1907. One hundred years after its founding, the movement grew, becoming a World Scout Movement. The centenary of the founding of the movement was celebrated under the slogan 'One World, One Promise'. The Macao Post did not want to leave to join the celebrations and issued a series of stamps dedicated to the event.
